Access depends on the programme. For the programme supporting vulnerable young people, referrals are made through the social services departments of participating local councils. The P.L.D. Method (Tongue-Based Detection of Dental Plaque) is a technique developed by Dr Claudia Rodríguez Maradei to enable people with visual impairments to detect bacterial plaque independently. It has been endorsed by the Ethics Committee of the Canary Islands Hospital Complex.El Método P.L.D. (Percepción Lingual de barrido de la Placa Dental) es una técnica creada por la Dra.
